We are a local company with over 35 years of experience in the electrical trade. Jersey PAT Testing has been established since 2012, conducting 1000's of tests for the islands hotels, Schools, Construction companies and businesses large and small.
We use the latest PAT testing equipment to test both 230V and 110V appliances.
Our Technicians are City & Guilds Certified and fully insured,
we PAT test in accordance with The Institute of Engineering and Technology (formerly IEE) code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

Our Services Include
As part of the service we provide we ensure we will:

Check plug top and cable for damage

Remove plug top and check wiring
-
Check correct fuse rating
-
Check cable clamps & terminals are tight
The appliance is then connected to our digital test device to be checked for

Earth Continuity
-
Insulation Resistance and Earth leakage test

Polarity Check
-
Functional test
If the item passes a pass label is applied detailing the test date, due date and the technicians Initials.
If any appliances require minor repairs to pass, these are carried out free of charge, we do not charge for any failed items.
Once testing is complete the data is downloaded and converted to an asset report containing:

Each appliance type, name, location and description
-
A full list of any failed items with an explanation of their failure.
